Las Vegas
we call it man built because it is one of the money making city in the world middle of nowhere (which you can experience when you drive) and all great, fancy, super luxurious things you have heard about Vegas is all on a road which stretches around 1 to 2 miles called as "the strip".
Well, we mentioned live like a king, yes, you can find a five-star hotel with resort fee included for something around $150. Also get great food buffet for around $25
and also we said
Party like a celebrity, yes, again relatively at a cheaper price than rest of the US.
So what can you do in Vegas? Go to a clubs, party, watch the most famous cirque de sole, gamble, eat get awed looking at the luxuries hotels (also stay in one for a cheaper price than rest of the world).
So if you are planning a trip, let's first understand that the city is happening (strip part of the city) only during the night. I would say pretty much nothing.
we will also suggest you to definitely go around the downtown area, where people go on with their life as any other American and do visit the historic Hoover dam. If you do not plan to do either of the two and decide to just visit the strip with round trip ticket in and out of Las Vegas, there will be pretty much no point to rent a car.
We did a road trip from Los Angles to Vegas and spent one night and half day in there. The day we reach we spent time going around the strip and next day we visited Hoover dam before driving back.
The best way to explore Vegas strip for a common man is to hold a water bottle and a cookie packet with you. Even if you stroll around the Strip for the night visiting all hotels it feels as if the strip never ends.
One day is a good enough time to visit vegas and luxurious hotels but if you want to go for a club for night party, dancing would suggest more days based on your things to do list.

One of the happening and fun-filled street with music bands and Zip lining, it is away from the strip. |
